I was hired as an Associate Producer at People vs Food by React right when I moved to Los Angeles.
As an Associate Producer, AND Culinary Producer, I had the... let's say, "opportunity" to juggle being a full-time creative producer AND a full-time culinary producer. This meant ideating, pitching, developing, and producing episodes while ALSO running the kitchen and coming up with the plating and plan of execution for all foods featured.
After a year and a half, I was promoted to Creative Producer, where I could more fully focus on the producing, hosting, and managerial side of the job - as well as gearing up to launch a new channel...
In late 2023 - early 2024, myself and a very
small team were given the challenge of launching a new cooking channel - a "sister" channel to People vs Food.
It certainly proved to be a challenge with the ever-changing and ever-evolving landscape that is YouTube, which resulted in myself and my co-producer to be flexible and pivot our content in anticipation of new content trends.
PVF Chef launched in March 2024, firstly with the goal of connecting popular IP (often seen on People vs Food) to cooking. I was given the opportunity to be a co-host the channel - while also balancing the responsibilities of co-producing and co-directing.
Producing
In my undergraduate, graduate, and professional career, I have served as a producer for countless short films and documentary projects.
In the following projects, I am a credited producer which involved contacting clients, organizing deadlines, and communicating with the crew.
Directing
In the following film(s), I wrote and directed the production, oversaw post production, and lead story development.
